I’m a Producer and Emmy Award-Winning Video Editor born, raised, and currently residing in the DMV.
I discovered my love for visual storytelling during my first internship at Good News Baltimore. We focused on combating the negative image of Baltimore by showcasing what the city has to offer from city farms to community outreach. I enjoyed raising awareness about issues such as why the city is considered a food desert and how city farmers have been able to improve urban agriculture in my hometown.
In 2016, I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Electronic Media and Film. Since graduating, I have worked in both news production and digital media. Most recently, I worked as a Post Production Coordinator on Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign. I collaborated and edited short- narrative videos that accrued 25.6 million views across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
I hope to continue my passion for creating progressive videos that serve our community, and to do my part to show other young black women that it is possible to thrive in media.
When I’m not working, you can find me cooking up a new meal I found on Pinterest or enjoying a nature walk with my fur baby, Judah.
